Flavor Notes: Mild, sweet, cinnamon, cane sugar, juicy

This high quality single origin hails from the Chiapas region near the southern border of Mexico, very close to the Huehuetenango coffee region of Guatemala. Chiapas is one of the leading world exports in organic coffee producing several hundred thousand sacks a year. The region’s mountain range serves as a perfect climate and terrain to grow high quality coffee. As this coffee is considered “Fair Trade” the farmers within the area who harvested this coffee have the ability to earn a higher livable wage. Coffee from this region shares similar traits to higher end Guatemalan (such as our Guatemala Gold). We find this Chiapas FTO to have a balanced body with hints of fruity and nutty notes common to the region. We think you will definitely enjoy this coffee at our medium/medium light roast, and will be great on batch, pour over, espresso and cold brew!
